Loopy Mango Expands Home Section

If you've been by the store in the last few days you will have noticed that our interior looks quite different! We just installed some beautiful and unique antique shelving. The shelves were made by Snead & Co. Iron Works and were originally in a library in Washington D.C.. The unique and functional design makes them easy to customize. The shelves easily slide in and out and can be placed at any height. These shelves are perfect for books, dishes, or anything else you can think of to display.
The Snead & Company Iron Works was one of the most well known and respected manufacturers of iron buildings and shelving in the country. They provided shelving for the Library of Congress, the Vatican Library, the New York Public Library, Stanford University Library, Columbia University Library, Cornell University Law Library and the Denver Public Library.

Our shelves are for sale and are customizable. One row of shelving is $5000 and each additional segment is $2500. The shelves have provided us the means to expand our home goods section so come by and take a look!

Gift Idea of the Day

Five globes from five centuries, symbolizing the advancement of cartography, the gradual pushing back of boundaries. Seemingly a magic object, many earth globes moving in perpetual circles. Different style globes in colors, hues and specifications make a fascinating and elegant object. Sure to arouse interest in planets and their clockwork movements in a curious child’s mind, it may at the same time bring about sleep in a drowsy mind, watching its hypnotic pattern. For the waking mind, a fascinating exercise awaits...
